When Was Your Last Hydrostatic Test?
Did you know that regular hydrostatic testing is crucial for the safety and performance of all tanks that are transported on the streets? At Puerto Rico Hydrostatic in Rincón, we make sure that tanks are safe to use. Tanks, like those for scuba diving, oxygen, or paintball, can hold a lot of pressure. To keep everyone safe, these tanks need to be checked regularly. This check is called a hydrostatic inspection.
We follow the rules set by the Department of Transportation (DOT) to make sure every tank is safe. During the inspection, we fill the tank with water and pressure test it up to 10,000 psi to see if it can handle the pressure. If a tank passes the test, it’s safe to use again. If not, it needs to be repaired or replaced.
Our new facility in northwest Puerto Rico is here to help keep you and your equipment safe. Regular inspections help prevent accidents and make sure your tank is always ready to use. Come to us with your tank testing needs and enjoy peace of mind whether you’re diving, paintballing, or participating in any other activity that requires pressurized tanks.
